Nature has been a never-ending source of inspiration in my design, art, research, and life - traversing those aspects and tying them together. A broad foundation for this creative expression was found through studying the philosophy popularized by Frank Lloyd Wright and perfected by his acolytes: nature patterns. The analyzation of an inspiration, distilling its essence to the core properties and patterns, be they aesthetic, growth, behavioral, adaptations, means of survival, etc. This forms the base for a creative weaving of what comprises the source inspiration. I find a comfort in the regular rhythm found in the pattern base. The further interpretation allows for a freedom to playfully interpret and understand a part of the natural spirit of a source flowing throughout that initial origin. This approach provides a unique, personal, awareness of a subject that can be shared with others.
